WOOOSH!

During a well deserved break from work last Friday, I went into the living room and threw myself on the sofa to watch a bit of TV whilst having lunch. I flicked through to MTV Base (or was it Kiss?) as Loose Women had finished. I was not at all ready for what my eyes had the pleasure to watch and now, it has been etched on my mind ever since.

Usher’s new video for the song entitled ‘Trading Places’… (If you have been fortunate to have seen this video, please adhere to the 1 minute silence of appreciation)….

… ‘Thank you’. Now, I know I’m not alone on this one. I’ve since had various conversatiaons with a close girlfriend and she is so feeling what I’m saying. After having watched it, I felt a bit hot in the cheeks and quickly realised I had a new found love for Mr Usher Raymond. That video is some – thing – else! The way he is singing and interacting with the model chick is too much to handle. You know his mum, sorry his wife, must have been flippin’ out when she watched it. I’m not a jealous girlfriend at all, but had my man be in this video, all intimate with another woman, I would be sooo mad.

Was I right? Of course I was! Do you need a few more seconds to compose yourself? …. Is this enough? The way he is ‘handling’ her makes me want to love Usher forever. I have never felt anything towards him other than admiration for tunes like “Can u get with it” – but this video has made me a fan. Well, at least till the next Armani campaign with Golden Balls Beckham comes around. God is most definetely a good God fo' sure…
